KFC® “WING IT” CHARITY EFFORT
Program Stipulations and Background
About the Program
As the NFL’s first “Official Wing Sponsor” of the 2008 NFL Playoffs and Super Bowl, KFC will make a six-figure charity donation if teams go deep into the playbook and successfully “wing” a Hail Mary pass this postseason.
For this program, a Hail Mary pass is defined as a completed forward pass where the ball travels more than 50 yards in the air on the final play of a game in the 2008 NFL Divisional or Conference Championship Playoff games or Super Bowl XLIII.
If a team completes a Hail Mary pass during the 2008 NFL Divisional or Conference Championship Playoff games, KFC will donate $125,000 total in the names of that quarterback/receiver combo to The KFC Colonel’s Scholars Program®.
The $125,000 donation will be made in the names of both players (NOT $125,000 for each player or $62,500 for each player).
Only one (1) and only the first completed Hail Mary pass of the NFL Divisional or Conference Championship Playoff games (prior to the Super Bowl) will be valid for the charity offer.
If a team completes a Hail Mary pass during Super Bowl XLIII, KFC will donate $125,000 total in the names of that quarterback/receiver combo to The KFC Colonel’s Scholars Program®.
Pending player and team approvals, the $125,000 donation will be made in the names of both players (NOT $125,000 for each player or $62,500 for each player).
The donation amount may be increased from $125,000 to $250,000 as set forth below.
If no team completes a Hail Mary pass during the 2008 NFL Divisional or Conference Championship Playoff games, KFC will roll over the $125,000 from the 2008 NFL Divisional or Conference Championship Playoff games and double the amount of the possible charitable donation for a completed Hail Mary pass during Super Bowl XLIII to a total of $250,000.
Pending player and team approvals, the $250,000 donation will be made in the names of both players (NOT $250,000 for each player or $125,000 for each player).
KFC’s determination as to whether the foregoing conditions have been met will be final and binding.
The National Football League, its member professional football clubs, NFL Ventures, Inc., NFL Ventures, L.P., NFL Properties LLC, NFL Enterprises LLC and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees (collectively, the “NFL Entities”) will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this promotion or any prize awarded.
